| A uniquely shaped bronze ewer from N-India, Mughal period, early 19th c. Condition: handle was lost sometime in its lifetime, and has a nice old repair. The plate of Shivas trifork under the spout is probably added later. In its new suit the ewer was probably used in the Siva Linga Hindu ritual. 26 cm. high | |||||||||||||||
