A earthenware large basin, painted in yellow, blue and green underglaze decor, the interior with a griffin, the rim with geometrical patterns. Condition: damaged and restorated formerly (see detailed photographs). Very rare Spanish basin measures 26" (66 cm) diameter. Origin and period: Spain, probably Seville, 17th-18th century.
