An exceptional wall shelf "kavukluk" used for placing the turban on it. This one is a stunning piece with mother of pearl
surrounded of wire inlay pieces decorated with architectural designs and islamic lamp. It has as another characteristic, it is a site to put the Koran. Good condition, some missings and woodworm marks, two small wood pieces was restuck, the rounded part to the right of the Koran's place and one in the bottom, see detailed photographs.

Exceptionnelle étagère murale porte-turban et porte-coran dite "kavukluk", superbe pièce à inscrustations de nacre, décoration centrale d'une lampe et de motifs floraux recouvrant entièrement l'étagère. Porte une étiquette originale au dos M. Aronani & Cie, Articles d'Orient. Bon état, un peu piquée au niveau du tiroir, quelques manques, deux morceaux recollés, un à droite du tiroir et un dans la partie inférieure, voir les photos. Dimensions: 86cm de haut. |
