A very beautiful French Art Nouveau sellette or plant stand with fine floral marquetery work, mahogany and miscellaneous fruit woods. It is a fine example of Art nouveau marquetery furniture made in France circa 1900, like Emile Gallé and Louis Majorelle works. Dimensions: 44in. (112cm) high, 17.2/3in. (45cm) large. Condition as founded: some missings on mahogany openwork, the marquetery is in good condition except a very little missing on top plate, see detailed photographs.
