| An antique black painted and parcel-gilt wrought iron console, the serpentine front with three squared openwork ornaments applied with rosettes, the center decorated with four relief scrolls, an inverted stylised scallopshell and topped by foliage elements (one replaced), raised on s-scrolled supports applied with foliage and jointed by scrolling bow stretcher centering with large acanthus leave, with modern glass top. Probably Italian, late 19th to early 20th century. Good antique condition, see photographs. Dimensions: 35.4in. (90cm.) high, 40.6.in (103cm.) wide, 15.7in. (40cm.) deep. | |||||||||||||||
