This is a very finely carved antique white jade snuff bottle. The body of the bottle is elongated melon form with vines and leaves extending to the sides. Vivid high relief carving of butterfly attached on the melon. Very delicate and beautiful carving style. This bottle is not like most other jade pebble snuff bottles with no bottom to support, it can stand up alone.

The item has been kept well with very nice patina of the white jade...

A Chinese Cloisonne on brass snuff bottle, Qing period. Twin body design, decorated with flowering lotus scrolls on on each side. The exposed copper wires are gilded. Original stoppers.
