This matching pair of cream jug and sugar bowl have a circular form. Each piece has six panels of embossed and chased decoration including cherry blossom and bamboo designs displayed over a matte background. To the centre of one panel of each piece is a vacant shield shaped cartouche. Both pieces are fitted with bamboo style handles and both have a bamboo style decorated rim. The cream jug and sugar bowl are supported by four scrolling leaf decorated feet. The cream jug has a plain beak style spout.

These pieces are an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

Hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece are very clear.
