| This is a very fine and beautiful antique Chinese SILVER card case with double sided diffrent scenes. One side depicts a gentleman reading books with his friend in the private garden, there is a maid serving the tea and snacks, and another guest is coming under a guard's lead. The other side carved with magpies stay on the plum tree, which indicates good fortune comes on the way. The case has two open sections for holding the cards. Around the edges bands have decorated with scroll leaves, all with very delicate hand hammered silver repousse works. A fine, unique and beautiful antique silver artwork to last forever! Stamped a Chinese character on the edge, which is the maker's mark. Measuring 10.2 cm x 6.5 cm (4" x 2.5"), thickness 1.1 cm. Weight: 66 grams. The case has been kept well and in excellent condition with no damage found. Some silver tarnish as photos shown. | ||
