A large lavishly painted early Qianlung period famille-rose plate decorated with enamels and gilt. Painted with a central spray of peonies and peacock feather in a vase along with Lingzhi, Ruyi and fan, showing a perfect life in comfort and relaxation. Peonies represents wealth and prosperity in China. A pink diapered band circles the rim. The rich enamels are glossy and vibrant, and complement the intricate yet balanced and graceful design.

Measurements: 12.5" diameter.

Condition: Very good. No chip, crack, or hairline. Minor color or glaze loss.
