Battery Bird Necklace
Battery necklace, strung on cotton string, circa 1940's. Beads are light weight hand cut gypsum. This is a typical example from the 1940's or 1950's. The necklace is made of found materials - battery case or 78 rpm records (black), plastic spoons and forks (red and white), and real turquoise. Their production pretty much stopped after the 1950's, and they have become very collectible. Mint condition!

Length: 24" not including the pendant which adds 2 1/4" to the drop length.

Measures:Pendant is 1 1/2" x 2 1/4"

Tabs are all 1" long.
