The Baltimore Company, James R. Armiger, made this pair of gorgeous sterling silver covered bowls. They are hand chased and have a very simple bottom with decorative edge and very ornate floral lids with rose finials. We are selling the bowls as a pair. James R. Armiger incorporated in 1896 and was out of business in the 1930's. We estimate these bowl to date from the very early years of production by this company. The frame on this ornate bride's basket was made by the Wilcox Silver Co. circa 1880's. The frame holds a beautiful robin's egg blue satin glass basket with touches of cranberry around the double ruffled edge. The frame has a twisted rope handle with an ornate decoration on the top. These baskets were traditional wedding gifts in the Victorian era. The bowl has no chips, cracks, or repairs and is 10" in diameter...

This gorgeous sterling silver bowl was hand chased and has a wide rim in a Repousse pattern. It dates circa 1890 and measures 12" X 7 3/4" X 2". It is in very fine condition.

Made by Simpson Hall & Miller, this Victorian mechanical butter dish dates circa 1890. The lid is suspended on a chain that raises when the ornate handle is moved downward. The piece drips with Victorian ornamentation. Complete with insert. The piece measures 12 inches high. Very fine condition with one tiny dent on the lid.
