Griffen, Smith, & Hill Majolica Seaweed Plate
Griffen, Smith, & Hill was one of the most notable American companies making majolica in the late 1800's. This Etruscan majolica plate is a fine example of their work. It is know as a seaweed plate. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. There is one tiny glaze pop - otherwise very fine condition. Marked on the back.
