| Tina Garcia, granddaughter of Severa Tafoya and sister of Gree and Virginia Garcia, is the artist who made this vase. As a young child Ms. Garcia studied the work of her family. In 1980, she began to produce her own pottery using only elements from the earth. The Bear Paw design is one of her signature designs executed in all natural red clay. This is a storage jar done by her in the Bear Paw design. It measures 5 inches wide and 4 inches high. One very tiny glaze pop or scratch on one side. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Artist signed. | ||
