James R. Armiger Sterling Hand Chased Cov. Bowls
The Baltimore Company, James R. Armiger, made this pair of gorgeous sterling silver covered bowls. They are hand chased and have a very simple bottom with decorative edge and very ornate floral lids with rose finials. We are selling the bowls as a pair. James R. Armiger incorporated in 1896 and was out of business in the 1930's. We estimate these bowl to date from the very early years of production by this company. One bowl has a few very minor pit marks on the interior. Both are monogrammed. Otherwise, superb condition. The bowls are 9 1/2 inches long, 7 1/4 inches wide and 5 inches to the top of the finial.
