This pottery vase (hua) dates to between 221 BC Ė 206 AD. It is about 13 inches tall and 9 inches wide at the widest point. There are no chips or cracks and the wonderful thing is that some of the original painted decoration is still present. Also as you can see in the pictures some of the grave sediment is still attached to the vase. It is a bit misshapen especially near the top with give is a lot of character. It weighs just over 7 pounds.

The detail on the metal work on lamp is amazing as the pictures show. Its made of at least three different metals, bronze, copper and a mixture of both. Even the copper bands are bent to give strength and design. A dragon is on one side of the body and a Phoenix on the other, both are important Chinese symbols. In my research I have not been able to find anything similar to this lamp. My best guess at a date would be Qing Dynasty. It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks other then t ...click for details

Sold to China - Thank You

A large late 19th to early 20th century Chinese mudman with a walking stick and hat. Early dark clay, hollow and not marked. Unusual in that he is very emaciated (thin face and ribs sticking out over the top of his robe). Has no repairs, chips or cracking but it does look like the hat has been painted over. As always please ask for more pictures if desired. Height:14-1/4".
