Normally fish sets like this are either sterling silver or silver plate. This set is coin silver (I tested them with a silver test kit's nitric acid and the blades are solid coin silver). Another feature that makes them unique is that the silver openwork, the silver engraving and the eagles engraved on the ivory are all hand done, this makes each knife truly unique. From the hall mark stamped onto each knife they were made by William Hutton & Sons of Sheffield England between 1886 to 1 ...click for details

Sold to China Thank You

The workmanship on this snuff bottle is really fantastic. The colored glass enameling is full of air bubbles. It's very unusual in that it has the dragon in brass relief. The colors are very vibrant and crisp. It's possible that this bottle is older then what I have it listed as. It measures 2 3/4 inches high with the lid on.
