| Charming pair of miniatures hand painted on ivory. One "La noce au village" wedding in the village, and the other "la foire au village", fair in the village. These 2 rare miniatures are signed and protected by glass. Frame seems to be in tortoise shell, and gilded brass. Good condition this 2 lovely pieces - Period Napoleon III circa 1850 - see photos for detail. Measures miniature diameter 5,7cm (2.25") and frame 9,5x9,5cm (3.75"x3.75") each.
