| Gorgeous antique stick pin, with 18 K gold Venetian ducat coin (Italy) under Paolo Ranieri, elected Doge 1779-1789, it is set with 6 claws. Very beautiful piece, with legends : obverse : S.M.VENET on left - PAUL.RAINER on right. Reverse : REGIS.ISTE.DUCA on left - SIT.T.XPE.DAT.Q.TV. on right. Gold 18K (most certainly pure gold 24K), stick pin is in 14 K gold. No mark but tasted as we announced. Coin measures diameter 20.4mm - Height 8cm (3.20") - Weigh 5,9 grams. It is in excellent condition, no pierced. Period coin circa 1785, mounted on stick pin in 19th c.
