Rare and unseen tribal arms chair from Kandy in Sri Lanka. 20th century, dated 1938 and signed on the left part of the seat. Made in a single piece of Jack wood. Sculptures of various animals can be seen on the front, the sides and the back. Remaining of blue lacquer still in various part of the chair. Width: 440mm Height: 1000mm |
