| Excellently carved antique Japanese ivory carving showing a artisan painting his work using one of his brushes. The carving is very detailed everywhere as shown without any part missing. Circa Meiji period. Size: 2 5/8 inches long and 2 1/4 inches tall. The carving has some original labels on the base, and it might cover the signature underneath. Condition: very good without any part missing. There is a very minor hair line type on his head as shown. The actual hairline is very very minor. One image showing more than it is as it is blown-up image. Also, no repairs.
