Current image is an antique 1880's original albumen photograph in sepian tone displaying a street corner view in Shanghai. This image is excellently composed with very very strong tone and clarity. The moat seperates the corner-silk shop and other groceries from the French concession which I think it is. You can see the Western style buildings on the left side across the moat. Several local people were watching the cameraman. The image is matted on a board, and with ink title on the margin as" Chinese Restaurant", but the image doesn't seem to be a restaurant to me. Condition: Perfectly excellent. Image size: 6 1/4x 8 1/4 inches, and albumen print is larger, and whole board is 10x12 inches.
