| Very nicely painted original oil painting on board displaying three farmers going to work. The painting is signed and dated by known Phillippine artist J.D. Castro in 1960. His works has been seen in the major auction houses, and most of his works are of still life. This genre painting is quite exceptional. He was born in 1908, and taught by Fabian De La Rosa, the then director of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Philippines. Size: 15 1/2x19 1/4 inches on board, and 21x24 1/4 inches including frame. | ||
