A pair of dark red lacquered elm wood chairs with curved backrests and wood seats. Each chair has elegantly formed vase-and-bamboo side posts intersecting the armrests, the arched apron with a cusped outline which is carved in an ornate fashion.

Wood: Southern Elm (Jumu)

Condition: Excellent condition, some restorations where the posts intersect with minor loss of lacquer in some areas (can be seen in the images). Consistent with the age of the chairs.
