Late 18th to early 19th century Height: 6 7/8 in (17.5 cm) An opaque white glass vase of flattened ovoid shape tapering towards the splayed foot cased with opaque black glass, deeply carved with blossoming lotus, foliage and sprigs, the shoulder with a band of lappets, the neck and mouth carved with a band of banana leaves beneath an incised band of key-fret.
