Depiction of: The print shows four kumosuke (unskilled laborers who frequented the great highways) warming themselves by a fire. A traveler, with pipe in hand, looks on; to his left, a peasant woman with a child on her back passes. Across the bare rice paddies is the village and the Hamamatsu Castle.

Date: 1832

Size: 9 1/2 x 14 1/4 inches

Condition: Good color, backed with worm holes repaired, center fold. (Matted print)

Description: Hamamatsu, Station 30, in Hiroshige's first series of 53 Stations of the Tokaido published by Hoeido.
