| A Terre de Lorraine Venus, leaning on a trunk behind her on her left is turning her face down to her right hand holding a fruit. Her right leg is bent and her right hand is resting on her back. Marked NIDERVILLER on the base, and the double C with the crown, representing the period of the Comte de Custine management at Niderviller (1770-1785). Very good condition. XVIII° Period, Circa: 1780. Dim: W: 5,9 in - D: 3,5in - H: 11in. / Une sculpture en Terre de Lorraine représentant Vénus à la pomme. Marqué sur la base NIDERVILLER et un double C couronné, ce qui correspond à la période (1770-1785) où la manufacture a été gérée par le Comte de Custine.
