This is a beautiful representation in terracotta depicting the head of a woman. The finely rendered face with large eyes and full lips is characteristic of an Etruscan man dating to 600 BCE. Her full hair is a testament to the skilled artisan who created this piece more than 2500 years ago. Measures 10" tall. Condition: Choice and intact with only small chipping to the base, as expected. A wonderful piece. No restorations whatsoever. Provenance provided to purchaser. |
