Nifty Santo Domingo 1930s-40s Thunderbird pendant in very good condition for its age. At one point a pin back was added and is no longer there. I am guessing the necklace was broken and someone made it into a pin. The original hole for stringing as a pendant is intact. I will apologize for the photo of the hole, I cannot hold it still enough for a clear shot. Measures 2 9/16th inches long x 1 5/8 inches wide.

Native American hand carved birds from shell, with fine heishi, turquoise, catlinite, and onyx or jet spacers. I am attributing this to Mr. Calabaza because his daughter felt the bird carvings were made by her Father. Total length is 36 inches, it will hang 18 inches down from the center back of the neck. I had the necklace Native re-strung for wearing security. All of the elements are original except the string and the loop for the hook at the back.
