This paper is dated post war, Nov. 18, 1869, and signed in the old faded iron(?) brown ink. The left side was folded back and trimmed to accommodate two metal rings for insertion in a binder. Fine original photo of the Dermont's Indian collection of art & taxidermy coyote or wolf. Nellie & her husband were early settlers in Arizona. The photo is dated on the back 03/19/07. For more information on the Dermonts see cip.azlibrary.gov/Institution.aspx?InsID=580. The mount measures 10" x 12" and the photo 8 1/8" x 6". There are some pin pricks in the mount and the upper left side of the photo. They are not noticeable for normal viewing...
