Document signed by General E. D. Townsend authenticating a copy of a record on file. General Townsend was the Assistant Adjutant General during the Civil War and became the Adjutant General after the war. This paper is dated post war, Nov. 18, 1869, and signed in the old faded iron(?) brown ink. The left side was folded back and trimmed to accommodate two metal rings for insertion in a binder. It measures 8 inches wide by 5 1/2" deep...

Fine original photo of the Dermont's Indian collection of art & taxidermy coyote or wolf. Nellie & her husband were early settlers in Arizona. The photo is dated on the back 03/19/07. For more information on the Dermonts see cip.azlibrary.gov/Institution.aspx?InsID=580. The mount measures 10" x 12" and the photo 8 1/8" x 6". There are some pin pricks in the mount and the upper left side of the photo. They are not noticeable for normal viewing...
