| This Navajo wedding basket is from my personal collection. It is 9 3/4" wide and stands 2 1/2" deep. This basket made from sumac bark and had been dyed with natural and synthetic colors. If one looks closely you still see bits of corn meal that is used in the wedding ceremony. Dating from around the 1940's this Navajo wedding basket is in pristine condition.
