Sterling silver lost wax Indian dance figure
This is another one of a kind sculpture done by the late artist Emily Sharp. This solid sterling silver dancer sits upon a 5 5/8" by 6 1/2' wooden base which has a piece of Arizona sandstone as it's resting place. The figure its self stands 3 3/4" high 2" wide and 1 1/2" deep. This exquisite miniature shows the dancer with full buffalo hair leggings with bells around the top. An Eagle feather bustle and a feather fan being held in the left hand with a wand in the right. As with all of Emily's sculptures the exacting to detail if incredible. Every piece of art is shown as the dancers costume would be in the original dance right down to the braided hair ties. Signed with a sterling silver dot with ES embossed this would make a nice addition to any collection. Any questions, please contact me.
