| Fantastic sterling silver oenophile’s ring with a green tourmaline intaglio of an ancient Greek amphora, or wine jug. On either side on the shoulders is cluster of grapes. Perfect gift or adornment for a vintner, wine enthusiast or collector. Finding an old piece with an unusual carving like this is a real treat! It could be anywhere from 1900 to 1940’s. Ring is approximately size 7-7.5 Tiny marks stamped on the inside- see photos. Condition is close to excellent --there are a couple of the TINIEST little nips on the edge of the stone table and the inside of the intaglio rim --visible ONLY when viewed with a loop.
