From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), an elegant Sivas carpet, Anatolia, 1900-1920, featuring a classic central medallion design executed in a pale bluish-grey, beige, and brown, set against a large salmon colored main field, and with floral and geometric motifs along the borders.

Size and Condition: A good larger size at 11.5 feet (350 cm) x 8.75 feet (265 cm). The carpet is in very good overall condition with no repairs, and none needed...

From our World Handicrafts (ex-Asia) Collection, a beautiful antique Tabriz rug, late 19th century, wool on wool construction, featuring a classic central medallion design against a rust colored ground, bordered by fields of mixed geometric, floral, and arabesque patterns, tastefully executed in a rich but subtle palette of rust, dark blue, light blue, olive green, peach, and cream colored hues.

From our European Porcelain Collection, a truly magnificent Vienna-style, iridescent-green ground, two-handled amphora-shaped vase, late 19th or possibly very early 20th century circa 1910, titled "Marguerite," depicting a very well-painted portrait of a beautiful woman holding a spray of marguerite daisies, the sides and reverse lavishly decorated in a brocade of gilt and adorned with enamel cabachons representing jewels...

From our European Porcelain Collection, an exceptionally well-painted 18th century Meissen coffee pot from the so-called "Dot Period" (1732-1773), probably 1740-1760, depicting a serenade or courtship scene with what is either two musicians or perhaps two suitors, attempting to curry the favor of a Lady, all executed in puce with gilt highlights upon a very white, hard paste porcelain body...

From our European Collection, a fine 19th century Victorian wheel barometer, featuring a black lacquered wood casing inlaid with mother of pearl, swan neck pediment, silvered barometer dial, bow-front thermometer, hygrometer, spirit level, and with an ivory setting knob. Maker unknown. A very elegant and refined example.

From our European Porcelain Collection, a fine Meissen globular vessel with underplate and lid, late 19th century or possibly turn of the century circa 1910, well-painted in puce with gilt highlights. The large central rose depicted in the first image is so life-like and realistic that it is almost three dimensional: we hope our photos have done this justice. Adding to the marvelous charm of this piece are the dragonflies and other insects, all very well-rendered in gilt...

From our Japanese Collection, a very good, large, and older pair of Japanese cloisonne vases, late Edo to early Meiji Period, probably 1850-1875, executed with floral motifs including wisteria, peony, and chrysanthemum, along with small birds and butterflies, all set against a turquoise blue ground upon a lobed, melon-shaped form...

From our European Porcelain Collection, a lovely three-piece Dresden ensemble, 19th century, very finely painted in the Baroque style with a central scene of figures involved in musical pursuits, all executed in polychrome enamels against a deep cobalt blue ground surrounded by lavish gilding.

Size and Condition: The main tray is 12 3/8 inches wide, 9 5/8 inches deep. The cosmetics box and ring stand are each approximately 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide...

A very good late 19th - early 20th century Tibetan ewer, crafted of thin, hand-worked sheets of what is probably some type of brass/bronze amalgam that has acquired a rich chocolate patina over time, with deep repousse and chasing techniques forming the decorative bands along the shoulder, neck, and lid of vessel, a well-formed makara shaped spout and handle, all atop a splayed footed base. Overall a very nice example with legitimate age, good presence, and very decorative...

From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, a very fine example of late 19th - early 20th century intaglio cut crystal, depicting a floral wreath on one side with floating flowers on the other side, “jeweled beveling” to the rim and foot, and all very well-cut and elegantly made.
