Condition: Very Fine condition. No injuries or repairs.

An impressive Edo period, 18th c. Tokkuri, (sake bottle). Beautifully balanced formed double-gourd tokkuri with an unctuos black to dark brown glaze and ivory-white slip grape-vine decoration. The unglazed foot is slightly concave revealing a buff colored stoneware body.
