Collectable TANE 48 pc. "925" Flatware
This is a superb 48 piece setting made by the highly collectible & sought after company,"TANE".."Tane Orfebres"was THE "Prominent silver house in Mexico City since the early '50's..They were the top sellers that people would buy from,if they were looking for the Finest in "hand wrought" silver & silver works..Their pieces were one of the more EXQUISITE in the day. This set(and we have seen many!!!) has to be one of the most beautiful in design/workmanship!!! Each piece has a fully gold wash finish, except 1/2 of the main knife, which is sterling on one half, gold wash finish on the other half. All the gold wash is there with none having been "used" away..This set I would say from experience,is in wonderful vintage condition. We will leave it up to the purchaser to polish the set, if they wish. The forks measure & weigh: 6 3/4" long..1 lb.5.85 Oz. Hallmarked"Tane Mexico Eagle 71 ADM 4057" The spoons measure & weigh: 8" long.. 1lb.13 Oz Hallmarked"Tane Mexico Eagle 71 ADM 4032" The knifes measure & weigh: 8 1/2" long..2lb.23 Oz. Hallmarked"Tane Mexico Eagle 71 ADM 4040 Sterling .0925" The butter knifes measure & weigh: 8"..1lb.8.5 Oz. Hallmarked"Tane Mexico Eagle 71 ADM 4039" This is a "Matched" Set. My guess that the only piece stamped sterling is the knife & that being because there was more room, since they had more stamps to put on there. The knife has more height from the side than the others. So,we did test for sterling & yes,it came out positive! If you have questions or need more photos, please do not hesitate contacting the gallery here in Santa fe..We supply you with all the tools needed for purchase, but please do not hesitate,if anything else is on your mind, regarding this set. So,please take a look at all photos, ask any questions,BEFORE purchasing, since we do not take returns and even though this set is in the condition as I described,it is still sold "AS IS"..And definitely we do not return items because of "Buyer's Remorse"!!! We will ship UPS,with tracking, signature req.but If there is another preference in shipping, please state that when purchasing. Insurance extra,so please state...Thank you for looking!!! If you would like to put in an offer, please do not hesitate,we will consider!! A sale by you or your assigns guarantees to Casa Navarro Galleries, that you are satisfied with the item's condition prior to your purchase and that you are buying a item in "As Is" condition.
