| Yamane Seigan (1952- present) is one of the more interesting Hagi potters.Amongst other things he is a martial arts practitioner,and he is a self taught potter. He is famous for his blue hagi, and various avant-garde forms of hagi. This purse shaped vase was made in 2004, and is part of a small series of purse shaped vases. This piece comes in it's original artist signed box, and with artist biography (in Japanese). 6 ¼” (16.5 cm) high, 4 ¾: (11.9 cm) wide, 4” (10 cm) deep. In perfect condition. | ||
