Dimensions: approx. 14.5" tall by 10.25" wide.

A beautiful hand-colored Zincograph etching by one of the most talented 19th century female botanical artist, Charlotte Caroline Sowerby.

This etching is from the "vary rare" ILLUSTRATED BOUQUET, 1857-64. Only one complete book has been discovered in the last 25 years.

This is a plate, #41 (XLI), and book was published by E. G. Henderson and Son between 1857-59. This wonderful etching depicts the following: TYDAEA, 1)Ignescenes, 2)Lurline, 3)Voulunteer, 4)Countess of Ilchester.

Condition Consensus: Very Good Condition. Overall even age-warmed patina consistent of age. Few fox pin-heads.
