This beautiful chawan (tea bowl) was made in the shino style, a more than four hundred year old tradition from the central part of Japan; the ancient Mino province.
The bowl is very well made and in perfect condition. It was probably made about 20 to 30 years ago. It is signed but the potter’s signature is not recognized. Please let me know if you have any question. The chawan will be shipped free of charge by SAL (without insurance).
