This beautiful chawan (tea bowl) was made in the shino style, a more than four hundred year old tradition from the central part of Japan; the ancient Mino province. The bowl is very well made and in perfect condition. It was probably made about 30 to 40 years ago. It is signed but the potter’s signature is not recognized.
