Two young attendants chatting while bringing tea. From an open window one can see books, brushpot with brush and paper on a desk. In the garden a crane and a deer. Long inscription relating the person's history & carer; dated 6th year of the Jiaqing reign = 1802. Painted on heavy canvas; the scholar's face made on paper and glued on the portrait. Picture size: H. 155 cm x 100 cm. Condition: water damages and ink stains on the lower part, otherwise quite good.
