A pretty, small round box with cylindrical body in multi-colored cloisonné on a light, blue ground decorated with geometrical patterns and various good-luck symbols including bats (bianfu), coins, etc. The bottom with red and blue flowers in lattice work. Qing, early to mid-19th cent., most probably Daoguang period (1820–1850). H 5.3 cm, D 7.5 cm. Condition: Minor rubbing to the gilded parts. One small loss to enamel on outside (in one of the good luck signs, see last picture), otherwise in very good condition.
