| An interesting and rare votive image of coloured wood depicting Naro-dakini, the consort of the Mahasiddha Naropa. She is standing on two recumben corpses (Shiva and Mahadevi) drinking from her skull-cup (kapala) while holding the vajra-chopper in the right hand. She wears the garland of skulls around her neck. Behind is a large oval mandorla with flaming edges. Tibet, 18th cent. (possible even older). H 22 X 17 cm. Condition: Good w. natural wear and a few minor chips to edges. | |||||||||||||||
