Unusual early Dehua, or Blanc de Chine figure. This is the companion piece to the Mandarin figure I am offering here also. Please note the early wheeled sedan chair, belt and incredible file details such as fringe on collar, layered underskirts, etc. The figure is 11 1/4" (29cm) by 5" (2cm). This is a period piece, though unsigned, the companion Mandarin bears a detailed inscription, translated from the Chinese on item 430453 There is minor wear, and small areas which could be restored if desired, but not deemed necessary, such as fringe on garment, and part of hair ornament. Please contact me for more photos or additional details. It was the opinion of Warren Antiques, Laguna Beach CA that these may be theatrical characters.

Here is a much copied wonderful eggshell porcelain covered ginger jar with the EIGHT IMORTALS in repousse or bas relief. Highly detailed and finely painted enamels. Immortal on Jar lid in bas relief also. Delightful collectors piece, not a recent copy, Qianlong signature, but 19th century. About 6" in height. Condition: Very good. A few small rim frits. No chips or hairlines.

Wonderful Sake Tokkuri in shape of stylized horse. impressed kanji character marks on hind leg. I do not know the artists signature.
