MORIAGE pottery Phoenix and Peony floral enameled polychrome details heavy and fine beaded enamel moriage work, on orange peel ground. Meticulously applied jewel like beading is exceptionally well done, with heavy Ruri Yu (oxidized cobalt color) and rich primary color glazes.
The vase is supported on three elephant like heads. A stellar collectors piece, large and bold. 19th century or earlier.

Blue enameled flowers edge this foliate rimmed porcelain Arita plate, 19th century. Cartouche features Japanese village, Imari detail, and butterflies. Gilt accents, hand painted. Plate is 8 1/2" (21 1/2cm) lovely, milky white porcelain, signed on reverse, with six characters.

Condition: Very Good. Appropriate for the period, a very faint 1/2" tight surface hairline bottom right edge (5 o'clock) which does not go through.
Underglaze blue and white Sometsuke vase, most likely Hirado or Arita Thickly potted, the 10" (25.5cm) vase is encircled by two white scaled dragons in high relief on a floral background. The neck is highlighted by four car touches, two scenic, two Peony floral. Foliate rimmed,there are leaves and florals inside the vase neck.
The glaze has a soft celadon cast, with pooled celadon glaze on base.
Condition: Excellent. Slight wear typical of the period, no chips or cracks.

RED LACQUER CINNABAR PANEL 18th Century, probably earlier Superbly and deeply carved, Scholars gather in an ornate garden and pagoda setting.
Square form with flared sides, Scholars are flanked by attendants all in a detailed landscape of pine, willow and Chinese parasol trees. The side are carved with cartouches of peony, chrysanthemum and camellia foliate lotus sprays at the corners, all reserved on diaper grounds.

Condition: Fine, some scratches on back, appropriate for the period. No missing lacquer,no chips.
Here is an exceptional carved Chinese wooden figural sculpture (17 1/4"(43.5cm) Emaciated Immortal. Richly grained and patinated, this extraordinarily carved Diety is much handled, treasured and loved. Workmanship is incredibly fine, and detailed.Condition excellent.
Interesting and rare combination of iron red and orange hues are enhanced by the canted corners, and brocade border in this striking early 19th century IMARI dish. Additional interest is created by color touches of green foliage, and butterflies.

Deep rich oxidized cobalt blue ruri yu bowl, accented by gilt floral scrolls and foot detail Edo bowl. Interior motif features gilt Ho birds and scrolls on an iron red ground. The mid bowl is cream crackle glaze, as is the exterior bowl bottom. Below this band is a central black rondel, with shadowed geometric figures.
