Here is an elegant and refined fine pair of mid 19th Century Victorian European CHERUBS OR ANGELS WALL SCONCES. The sconces are cast bronze made for candles with very good detail in the metal work. This is an unusual rendition of the God of Longevity, shown in an unusual setting with a tree and children, which is actually a water dropper. Shoulao dates to the late 19th, or early 20th century.
The Chinese Export figurine is well painted, and pleasing. The form is rare and unusual. A fine addition for your collection of Famille Rose, Chinese export or water droppers. Signed on Base. This early KUTANI bowl is an exceptionally fine and highly detailed work of art. Painted in "Rouge De Fer" with gilt accents the bowl has strong KUTANI details with well executed figurals and landscape views in the cavettos. The porcelain body has a fine small krackle finish on a grayed body presenting a total Japanese feel yet the coloration will blend with your Chinese Imari or Rouge De Fer as well.
The enamels are particularly well executed in the interior as well as the exterior. Indeed, a special signed Kutani porcelain.
Dimensions: Diameter 7 1/2"(19cm) Height 3 1/2"(9cm) Condition: Very good. There is a small area in the under glaze on exterior which was possibly rubbed prior to firing. there are a few pin head pits in the glaze. This is typical in works of this age.

A fine and large handpainted famille rose Guanyin painted on blanc de chine ground. 19th century Qing Dynasty, Guangxu period. This is a one of a kind. This figurine is unique, lovingly painted in famille rose pallet. Dimensions: Height 14" Condition: Very good. A few minor frits, underside rim chip on garment. This item is individually painter, there is a drip (color loss) of the enamel on base.

Wonderful under glaze copper red and blue extremely massive vase of a fierce dragon chasing a flaming pearl, with a splendid articulated five toed copper red and blue dragon applied in high bas relief. Probably mid 20th century,but could be earlier
