CHINESE JARDINIERE, Qianlong, "of the period" The motif jardiniere is of delicate shaded Peony blossoms with beautiful cobalt blue leaves. The rim has a Greek Key pattern. The enamels are exceptionally detailed and the workmanship is Qianlong caliber.

Here is a unique lamp and shade in the French manner of Louis the XIV. The lamp and shade are porcelain, and the reticulate shade gives off the most intriguing and romantic glow.
The figures are nicely done, all hand painted on good quality porcelain ground. The blue and white goes well with Country French, formal or even Asian blue and white decor.

A fine blue and white plate in the manner of SHONZUI. I can only say that I have seen photos of Shonzui, which is Chinese. I do not know the age or origin of this plate, but I would say by appearances it is Japanese.

A fine striking signed Chinese export ROSE MANDARIN Ginger Jar dating to mid 20th century. This jar has exceptional painted detail, pleasing large size and is beautifully potted. A rare quality piece not masquerading as pre 1900. It stands on its own merits.

CANTAGALLI signed majolica is treasured among collectors. This outstanding large pair of reticulated porcelain lamps has all the desireable details so sought by this wonderful Italian Majolica manufacturer.
From the top of the incredible gilt finials to the serpents and figural heads these lamps just jumpout. Bold majolica is contrasting greens and pinks really set off a RETRO feel, with age old Italian Majolica.
The lamps are signed with the Cantagalli name, rooster and Italy.
