Here is a unique lamp and shade in the French manner of Louis the XIV. The lamp and shade are porcelain, and the reticulate shade gives off the most intriguing and romantic glow.

Barbizon Oil Painting,Charles Emile Jacques French (Benezit) 19th century landscape oil on canvas in original period gilt frame.

The artist, Charles Emile Jacques was born in France in 1813 and died in 1894, he was noted for his paintings of animals, especially farm animals.

Jacques was part of the Barbizon school, a movement of painters named after the village of Barbizon near Fontaine Bleau forest, France. The back of the canvas has the stencil mark "P.Briautt 2 Rue du Louvre, Paris" the name of the canvas supplier. (Circa 1880) Dimensions:Frame Height 32.7x 40 inches (83cm x 99cm)

A fine 18th century PEWTER TEA CADDY with applied hammered copper bird and flowering branch applique and copper rim on the original rolled liplid.
The ovoid tea jar has a soft mellow patina and beautifully worked hammered copper details. This tea caddy in Ginger jar form is a rare find as early pewter was frequently resmelted to make bullets and other lead implements as needed.

KANGXI 康熙 18th Century,Chinese (circa 1720-1740) blue and white CHINESE CHARGER or deep plate of superior caliber. Charger is 16" in diameter deep cobalt blue on fine thickly potted porcelain ground with elegant assorted florals, a bird and a butterfly, all enclosed within a cross hatch and floral cavetto detailed border. The exterior of the plate bears a scrolling vine.

Exceptional size a truly stellar find.

Condition: Excellent. Some sand pitting in the lower central plate with a few glaze flaws (see photos). Some small rim frits. No hairlines, chips or other damage.

Exceptional Qianlong CLOISONNE AND BRONZE brazier or heater,in Imperial Yellow, most likely provincial made, Very finely worked bronze dragons and ornamental bronze details (vents, legs and tooling) highlight the incredible cloisonne Bears Qianlong sealmarks. Evaluated by WARREN IMPORTS, Laguna Beach California IDENTIFIED AS PROVINCIAL QIANLONG OF THE PERIOD.

Here is a really fine and large Chinese Blanc de Chine Guanyin (Kwan Yin) Figure mounted in the early 1920's as a lamp.
The Guanyin Goddess is mounted on a reticulated brass base, with brass fittings. There is no damage to the porcelain statue as the post is mounted behind the porcelain figuriene.
