Chinese black lacquer bowls embellished with silver dragons. The bowls measure 5" in diameter, by 2 1/2" in height. There are finely painted silver dragons running around the bowl. Interiors are red. Condition is mint. Bowls are signed on the base, "Shun Shao An Vang Kee" Foo Chow China in silver. Bowls date to 1950.

Here is a lovely pair of intensely green Sancai fine early pottery Foo dogs. These are actually Joss stick holders, used for lighting candles in religious ceremonies. The dogs are from a fine Eastern estate and had been appraised by Sotheby's as of the period by former owner in the 1970's. The distinctive matched pair stands about 11".Interesting details to collar and heads, great flamboyant style and and unusual glaze. They date to the early to mid 19th century These dogs are hollow bodies as are the bases.
Condition: Very good. Some slight wear as visable in photos.

CELADON VASE GINGER JAR FORM, converted to a very elegant large lamp. The jar is late 19th century and has the original ornately carved wooden lid, and a carved wooden stand. The porcelain is sage color with crackle glaze. Fittings are early 20th century, with a wooden spindle, double socket,one replaced for safety.
Appears to have impressed marks with spaces, but unreadable.
Old paper label on base "$20.00" expensive for the 20s-30's era.
