LUCKY DOLL (Hanako) with six wigs,Japan 1950's. The doll set is all original; hard to find one with six wigs, especially in this condition. Stand is also included in the original box. Often known as "THE HANAKO" several Japanese companies manufactured this doll shortly after WWII. Ningyo, or doll collecting is especially popular in Japan, and this doll is highly sought by collectors. Wigs are made from human hair. Dolls face is "Gofun" or oyster shell.
