This is an excellent celadon mallet vase reproduction that follows the antiques collected by a number of museums or galleries around the globe. Although the shape and size are slightly different, the anonymous workshop fired one of the best jade-like glazes from modern kiln and crafted the two mallet vases.

The ceramist used multiple-glazing technique that creates very thick bluish celadon glaze all over the vase, inside and out. In addition to the visual observation, the transparent crackles are the best proof of the thick galze presentation.

Though the mouth rim of the mallet vase is a little bit falsity and a tiny glazing flaw near the base, the two celadon mallet vases are in perfect condition.
